Resistivity Array

CMT Resistivity Array meter is used for assessing the rate of corrosion of embedded reinforcement.

Commencement time and rate of corrosion depend upon the properties of cement paste and permeability of the concrete.

Electrical conductivity of concrete is an electrolytic process. High permeable concrete will have high conductivity. High conductivity means low resistance. The lower the resistance, the higher the probable rate of corrosion.
